Quick update on IG Farms

    To help reduce client and server lag, we have changed the way Iron Golem spawners work.

    IG's will now spawn from spawners on fire, and with minimal health, meaning they will die almost instantly.

    By doing this, both the client and the server have less calculations and work to do on the mechanics, and therefore removes almost all lag entirely.

    Example:

    Below we have a 343 x IG Spawner farm, with a whole hopper floor, hooked up to a wall of dubs beneath. Zero lag.

    Just asking, have you upped the rates at which iron golems spawn from each individual spawned? And also thank you so much for doing this. Not only does it save us from actually making the farm, it decreases lag which I had A LOT of in my little box last map. We had like 50 igs in it and it was crazy lag.

    You're welcome! I actually surprised myself... 343 spawners with no lag on a 2012 macbook laptop... thats pretty damn good! Might start lagging a bit though when tons of water walls are added.

    I've upped the spawn rate slightly, but not by a lot. That farm i've shown above filled 32 dubs in 30 mins. If its set too high, then it was unbalance the economy. So if i up the spawn rate, i need to decrease iron value.

    Nope, not since i took ownership at least.
